
The International Conference on Open Finance (ICOF 2026) is the world’s premier venue dedicated to sharing of research on the use of open standards and open source in banking, investments and financial markets, covering everything from infrastructure, analyses of financial transactions, portfolio management, policy & regulations, and new technologies in finance (FinTech).
ICOF 2026 aims to unite researchers, scientists, scholars, and students to exchange experiences, share new ideas, and present research findings across various disciplines involving open standards and open-source technologies including their potential applications to the financial services sector. ICOF 2026 is col-located with the Open Finance Conference 2026 which is an industry conference and participants from both conferences will be encouraged to interact to discuss real-world challenges and innovative solutions.
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished papers describing recent work in the field of banking, investments, financial markets and others using open standards and open-source technologies. Authors are also invited to submit practical, industry-oriented papers. A special industrial case-study track is dedicated to papers that enable others to learn the best industry practices.
The ICOF 2026 offers both in-person and remote presentations of accepted conference papers or abstracts.
ICOF 2025 will be co-located with the Open Finance Conference (OFC 2026) which is an industry focused event. All participants will be able to access any sessions in OFC 2026 and ICOF 2026.

Submission Guidelines
We invite full papers, extended abstracts, and work-in-progress reports that contribute to academic deliberations and industry discourse. To ensure academic rigor and quality, all submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Accepted papers may be considered for publication in the conference proceedings at the authors’ discretion.

- All submissions must be made through Microsoft CMT using this submission link. If you have not used CMT before, register to create an account and then submit your documents. Click this link to view the Quick Tour on Submission for Authors.
NOTE: The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support. - Authors should submit two documents:
- A cover page with the paper title, names and email addresses of the authors, and
- A manuscript. Once accepted, the camera-ready paper must be written using the SETSCI template, that can be downloaded by clicking here.
IMPORTANT: Since all manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review, do not include name of the authors in your manuscript submission.
- The length of the manuscript will depend on the Submission Categories mentioned above.
- Accepted papers where the authors have registered for the conference will be eligible for publication in the open access journal SETSCI Conference Proceedings
- Each published paper will be assigned its own DOI, and
- The ICOF 2026 papers will be published as a separate volume of the journal.
